One of Baas Metaal’s core activities is laser cutting. Our fully automated laser cutting machine ensures the quality you want from us. From cutting 25 mm thick plates for the agricultural sector to thicknesses of only 0.5 mm for the electronics industry, we can make it for you. We offer you fast and reliable delivery and to get started quickly we always have a stock of steel, stainless steel and aluminum, but also brass and copper. The combination of the laser cutting machine and the automatic warehouse allows us to produce 24 hours a day. In addition to large series, we also supply single piece and smaller series.

Laser cutting steel, stainless steel,
aluminum, brass and copper
Our employees are familiar with high-strength steel types such as Hardox, Weldox, Dillidur and Dillimax and laser cutting all your sheet metal up to 3 meters long. For various materials, such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum and various high-strength and wear-resistant steel types, a maximum thickness of 30 mm applies. A list of precise dimensions per material can be found in the description of our machines.
Laser cutting without adhesive
problems with coatings
Steel up to 3 mm is cut with nitrogen to achieve bright cutting edges. This prevents adhesion problems during the application of an epoxy coating. The bonding process is also promoted by the use of the Rösler drum and Lissmac machine. This removes sharp edges and optimizes the surface.

Baas Metaal BV sends a quotation for each production based on your drawing. The standard low price includes any laser cutting, material and any engineering and transport costs. The laser time varies and is adjusted to the thickness of the material and the complexity of the product.

Lasersnijden staal, RVS,
aluminium, messing en koper
Onze medewerkers zijn onder meer bekend met hoogsterkte staalsoorten als Hardox, Weldox, Dillidur en Dillimax en lasersnijden al uw plaatwerk tot 3 meter lang. Voor diverse materialen, zoals staal, RVS, aluminium en diverse hoogsterkte- en slijtvaste staalsoorten geldt een maximum dikte van 30 mm. Een lijst met precieze afmetingen per materiaal vindt u bij de beschrijving van onze machines.
Lasersnijden zonder hechtings-
problemen met coatings
Staal tot en met 3 mm wordt gesneden met stikstof, om blanke snijkanten te bewerkstelligen. Dat voorkomt hechtingsproblemen tijdens het aanbrengen van een epoxy coating. Het hechtingsproces wordt tevens bevorderd door het gebruik van de Rösler trommel en Lissmac machine. Hiermee worden scherpe randen verwijderd en de oppervlakte geoptimaliseerd.

Baas Metaal BV verstuurt voor iedere productie een offerte op basis van uw tekening. De standaard lage prijs bevat eventuele lasersnij-, materiaal- en eventuele engineering- en transportkosten. De lasertijd varieert en wordt afgestemd op de dikte van het materiaal en de complexiteit van het product.

and the machine
We have two CO2 laser cutting machines and 1 fiber laser. Both CO2 laser cutting machines are of the TruLaser 3030 type. The fiber laser (diode laser) is a TruLaser 5030. These laser cutting machines are fast and, thanks to a power of 6 kW, deliver excellent cutting quality. The machines are equipped with an automatic nozzle changer and jet alignment, allowing longer unmanned cutting. The automatic loading and unloading unit ensures the supply of new sheet material and the return of cut products. This contributes to efficiency and automatic monitoring of the quality of the lens.
We usually choose our fiber laser for cutting complex structures with extremely small tolerances. The fiber laser is also the ideal machine if brass or copper needs to be cut. If super-smooth sides are a requirement, one of our CO2 laser cutting machines is often suitable for the job.
