TIG/MIG/MAG Welding

Material group 1.1 and 1.2 (Steel)
• TIG Fillet weld 1.4 to 3 mm sheet thickness – single layer welded
• TIG v-seam Pipe > Ø 25 mm wall thickness from 3 to 10 mm.
Material group 8 (stainless steel)
• TIG Fillet weld 1.4 to 3 mm sheet thickness – single layer welded
• TIG v-seam Pipe > Ø 25 mm wall thickness from 3 to 10 mm
Welding TIG
Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding is particularly suitable for welding thin plates and processing wind-resistant products. We mainly work without wire, although this is an option, but often both sides are fused together. Corners and edges are then finished extremely precisely. Clients must take into account a relatively slower work process than, for example, MIG and MAG welding.
Welding MIG and Welding MAG
In addition to a higher production speed, MIG and MAG welding also offers a high degree of flexibility, as it can be performed in almost any position. The methods provide good protection against oxidation, but for complete wind resistance Baas Metaal BV recommends a TIG welding process.
