Rolling and the bending moment
Rolling is frequently used to permanently deform steel and other metals. The operation works best with a desired round structure.
Every plate contains a certain level of elasticity, which largely depends on the thickness of the material. By exerting pressure on the product and using just as much force until the bending moment is reached, a new shape can be given to the product.
Rolling basically falls into the same list of operations as bending and bending of material, because plates can be bent extremely precisely.
