Baas Metaal in Almelo has been a reliable and customer-oriented metal company for over 30 years for customer-specific products for machine and equipment construction, the agricultural sector and the food industry. We are happy to use the expertise and advanced equipment we have built up to quickly and professionally design and build high-quality products for our clients. If desired, we can provide your products with a surface treatment. Baas Metaal can therefore take care of the entire process from product development to production, assembly and delivery, but of course you can also call on us for part of this, such as Laser Cutting, Robot welding and Sheet Metal Work.

Our Certificates
We believe quality is important, which is why both our people and our organization have the certificates that are important when performing our profession.
Our ISO 9001 certificate shows that our quality policy is recorded and known to all employees. In short, this certification means that we say what we do, do what we say and that we can prove it. The ISO 9001 certificate applies to engineering, manufacturing, assembly, revision and maintenance of mechanical installations.
The NEN-EN 1090 standard guarantees the continuity and quality assurance of the production process of load-bearing steel or aluminium components. The standard contains requirements for determining whether product requirements are met in the areas of mechanical strength, stability, hygiene, fire safety, health, environment and sustainability. As of 1 July 2014, it is mandatory that all components of load-bearing steel or aluminium constructions are provided with a CE marking according to NEN-EN 1090. We obtained this certificate in June 2016.
Our ISO 3834-2 certificate indicates that we have guaranteed all quality requirements in the field of high-quality welding work. These requirements relate to the qualification of the welder, the assessment of the welding, the qualification of the welding method, inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT). The ISO 3834-2 certification is of great importance, because NDT testing can never determine with 100% certainty whether a connection meets the requirements. Thanks to the certificate, it can be determined in advance with a high degree of probability that the end product will meet the requirements. ISO 3834-2 is the most comprehensive certification for welding companies and therefore a guarantee for welding work of the highest quality. We obtained this certificate in June 2016.
